Gopabandhu Institute of Medical Science And Research is a peerless organization, situated around 40 acres in the hinder land of Athagarh, at-Madhabpur on a luxuriantverdantrecline on the river bank of the great river “Mahanadi”. Servants Ofthe People Society (SOPS) decided to establish an institution to permanently, definitely and categorically serve the poor patients and research work in the state of Odisha.
In the year 2009 GIMSAR was established with entire medical facilities to care the poor & needy patients with 24X7 ambulance facility, as a mile stone in the year 2011 GIMSAR stepped ahead with the educational institution by initiation School and College of Nursing which made a gateway to the poor students to perceive their higher studies.
